JAI Chapters

The Governing Body may grant permission to members of the JAI in defined geographic area to form a chapter of the Journalist Association of India (JAI) ( referred to herein as a “Chapter”

(The JAI has, at present, ten such chapters across india) All members living in the geographic area as defined by the Governing Body or Secretary General Mr. H K Sethi shall, (automatically) be members of that respective chapter. A chapter is expected to hold at least two activities in each calendar year.

JAI’s ten chapters offer activities to members who work or live in their areas. Activities include professional skills development workshops, student scholarship and internship programs and media access workshops. Chapters also hold networking social events, such as tailgate parties, sports events, new year dinners and screening of plays and films.
